What's new at Olive G Pettis this week?

Discovery Park Project

  • More than 80 dead trees have been removed from the Discovery Park by DJ's Tree Work!  Many were chipped and large ones were removed from the area.  
  • The Library Manager and Trustees are firming up dates for all of the year's events and planning to mail out information soon!  
  • The first order of 30 engraved paver bricks has been submitted! Thank you so much to all of those who have donated so far. 
  • Students at Sugar River Valley Regional Tech Center in Claremont will be constructing picnic tables, an arbor swing, and a little lending library as winter woodworking projects!

General News

  • Our Mother's Day quilt raffle has begun! Tickets are $5 a piece or spend $20 and get 5! The drawing for this raffle will be on May 14th 2023
  • Weeding and reorganization is underway; we will be updating the collection over the next few months. 
  • The library will be accepting used book donations starting April 1st and continuing to do so until September 1.
